SimplyTrak Vehicle Tracking Features

How it works:

The SimplyTrak unit is fitted securely to your vehicle(s) and constantly, a signal is transmitted to obtain positional information using a selection of GPS satellites circling the globe.

This information is stored (in the format of your choice) in the SimplyTrak unit within the vehicle and uploaded to our wholly secure server via GPRS and IP-Sec protocols (we are the only company incorporating this totally secure transfer protocol for security of your data). This data is then instantaneously uploaded (relayed over your Internet connection) to your computer using the very easy-to-use SimplyTrak software provided.

Below are just some of the key features of the SimplyTrak system:

Capture information about each vehicle (make, model, colour and the SimplyTrak assigned telephone number) - makes for easy selection when you are tracking multiple vehicles.

Enter as many known locations as you wish to specifically appear on the maps as you track your vehicles. For example, your offices, headquarters or customer depots.

Simply clicking the 'include all' (or selecting any number of individual vehicles) will allow you to view the positions of the entire fleet live with information regarding its status. The maps automatically zoom to be just large enough to include the selected vehicles - giving you maximum detail with minimum effort.

Click on the vehicle icon on screen to obtain its location, current travelling speed and heading information.

This data can also be downloaded and stored for reporting purposes.

• The ‘Journey report’ will show all journeys made and can display full addresses (if required).
• The ‘Stop report’ shows all stops made by the vehicle - 5, 10, 12 minutes or whatever time interval you set.
• The ‘Stock report’ shows the position of all chosen vehicles at a given time in report format.
• The ‘History Report’ shows all lines of information recorded allowing actual playback of journeys made in incredible detail. Includes snail-trails and stops appearing on demand.
• The ‘Speed Report’ shows each instance where the vehicle exceeded a chosen speed.
• The ‘Patrol Report’ illustrates whenever any vehicle visited chosen known locations. Ideal for job costings or proof of security patrolling.
• For added convenience reports can be viewed on screen or printed in a format you choose.
